It sucks and not in the good way, don't come here. Brief enough?

 

Ok so it's a nice city, nice river, safe, you can walk everywhere like in Thailand, rent is low, $100- 300 per month gets you a nice place. Food and transportation is more expensive than the US.  High end food, however, is a little bit less. The french restaurant in naga world is quite good and less than compareable ones in the US. Foie Gras was superior, one of the best I've had in awhile and only $15.

 

For ladyboys, you can find them at Pontoon disco, and Heart of Darkness, disco. Both after 12am. On 51 street, near 172. Not many, maybe 3-5 in each disco max. Online with wechat, not many either.  Price is low, free to $20 per night. One even bought me a few drinks hoping I would go with her. Looks are ok to good, not great, age around 22-25.

 

Candy bar is a mix bar over on 136 near the river. Most of the ladyboys you will find at the discos work there, or other bars. They all lie about being LB here if asked, but if you know, you know.

 

Price is high there though as with ALL the GG bars around here.

 

List price is $50 ST (range 30-50, 30 is hard to get)

$100 LT (range $60-150, 60 is pretty easy to get, 150 is rare, except at the casino)

Barfine is $10 (range $5-15)

 

Pontoon is about 40-50 LT for Freelancers.

 

These are the gg prices, but ladyboys will follow them unless you make it clear that you know they are a LB and then they will negotiate lower. GG will NOT negotiate much.

 

Performance in the room is TERRIBLE, can't stress this enough, from both gg and lb. Rare to get bad service from a ladyboy but it's the case here. One lb said she didn't do bj, and i just stared at her, almost started laughing.

 

I don't recommend Cambodia to anyone who is taking a trip for mongering only, like I am.

 

Lots of single foreign women here, many french, interesting I don't really see that in spots like Angeles City and Pattaya. Even in Pattaya it's mostly couples.

Your report doesn't surprise me, I was there a bit over ten years ago, the scene ingeneral was well below that of LOS, I just wouldn't bother going there as a monger.

One mistaken line I wrote was about the food and transport being more expensive than the US, that was some kind of weird copy paste error.  I had written something more about high end restaurants and a comparison with the US and then erased it, so it got mixed together somehow. Anyway the food and transport was often LESS than Thailand is what I wanted to write.

Uhm, no, I think they were tourist, some a bit older, some I think were with NGOs. Didn't notice almost any with local men...or women.

No, I think they were just regular tourists and NGO workers. Maybe some of the NGO workers were 'monitoring' sex tourist, but if that is the case, not much to monitor. Most of the bars were pretty empty, dead really, I was often, very often, the only customer in there.

 

PP is certainly an ok spot for a bit of relaxing tourism. I enjoyed looking at the river, the town was peaceful and safe, I enjoyed the restaurants and the prices were good for things like food, hotels, and transportation despite the mistake I made on the first post. It's just boring is all. The LB who are there were ok looking, but no stunners, most LB were very light skinned I noticed. Whereas most gg were very dark. I prefer dark and came to realize many of my gf from Pattaya were actually somewhat Cambodian, most having come from provinces near the border.

 

The huge problem was just how boring it was, and gg/lb were a bit high priced relative to the average wage there compared to TH. Certainly when compared to Philippines. Loads of drink sluts in the bars, not interested in going barfine and quite happy to honestly tell you. That was another interesting thing, gg were very honest there, willing to tell me if they had husband or boyfriend as their reason for no wanting to go long time with me.

 

In fact only dishonesty came from a LB early on, well and her bargirl friend. First LB I met actually, mentioned twice, sort of in the trip report above. To expand on it this is what happened. Was in Pontoon and I guess my sitting alone, (or maybe my appearance?), caused one girl to think I was gay and she brought over her 'girlfriend' who was having a birthday, for me to meet. The girl was hot so I did chat for awhile and she certainly fooled me for a time, I think it was because they both worked at a bar, and at that time I wasn't yet aware that there were mixed bars in PP.

 

I did get suspicious and asked her straight up and she said she wasn't a LB. Well, of course, I have some experience asking ladyboys questions and she got a bit tongued tied with her answers, and eventually admitted she was. She was a pretty girl, even bought me a couple drinks and wasn't looking for pay, she was the one who said she didn't give BJs . That was different to hear coming from a ladyboy.

 

I didn't like the deception, but was quite used to it from dealing with LBs before so that wasn't any part of my reason for saying no to her. Was really just looking for a gg that night, and having no luck getting one. Bad luck the whole time I was in PP. Don't regret passing on the LB, even though she was better looking then some of the others I met. She probably still works in Candy bar.

 

Had planned to stay months, or a year, but the abysmal scene caused me to return to the Philippines, after a brief stop in bkk/Patts.
