Spoke with Big Bint today and she said she moved on as soon as the money stopped about 2 months ago.
If an establishment needs to be financially topped up for the low season then the business model is obviously fucked.
Alternatively the owner has done a runner with the high season takings.

Pardon me for intruding on this thread: but the chatter seems to be that this bar is closing, at least for the time being due to a lack of funds as i understand it.
Personally, i have a great deal of time for Stringfellows, and particularly for Steve the proprietor, so i do hope everything is alright for him.

Big Beer, who is the greatest and kindest LB from your staff, is asking me to help her.
The BHT she says is owed from Stringfellows is not huge in UK terms.
She has continuously and consciously worked for 2 years at your business premises.
I sincerely hope that you have enough integrity to fulfil your obligations.
Thanks in advance

Two-three years ago I might have seen this as an opportunity to get myself into to the LB-bar scen. But no more, yet, I hope Stringfellows find the means to survive.

As you have been told by Bob, over on the Stringfellows' website, neither Bob or I have anything to do with
the ownership or management of the bar. My only involvement is maintenance of the website for which I
receive no compensation of any kind.
