WOW   Fantastic Photos   -  I came back from 2 weeks in PH  on 17th May  -   We had 6days on Boracay and its amazing !!!   You have captured all the best of the Island in your Pics !     I did try to do it all ....  Helicopter trip around the island .... Helmet Diving ,....Sailing into the Sunset  ....  Supsup on your beautiful Ladyboy   ....   OOppppsss  ....   Then she tops you .... PARADISE

Borocay is a stunning island with a lot to do, but from my experience it's not a mongers destination, but perfect for couples as you have displayed. There are a few girls and ladyboys loitering around station 2 and the late night discos but really this is a place to just chill and enjoy some good food and a few beach activities.

Manila is very new to me (2 times) so it is a buzz, used to think the same about Bangkok years ago but now it has nothing at all to lure me there

I understand that entirely, which is why Bangers is rarely on my agenda.

I've been to Bora (2012) and yes it's very nice. Very popular...but not overly so like some people say. I took a Phil ladyboy friend with me...and she was treated with respect.
Is that your girl smiling in the boat photo...and with you and the fire show boys? Stunning!

Brilliant report Duke. I'm a Phil regular (no trips to Thailand yet unfortunately) but I'll take your word for it regarding how the Phil beaches are better. Whether Boracay or Puerto Galera (White Beach) or down most parts of Mindanao they are usually very clean and pretty.
I kind of forgot how good Boracay was...but I am keen to see it again now. And that hotel is definitely where I'll be staying next time. Much better than where I stayed - Rainbow Rooms at Station 3. That's gay owned/GLBT friendly...but just didn't cut it.
