I return, with some relief, to the island tomorrow (saturday) after 5 nights in The Sewer. P*****a is very very quiet, which should be a good thing for a mongerer, but i was disappointed at the lack of interest in many bars in this walking barfine & ladydrink buyer. 

 And, for the first time in years (read ever!) i'm bringing unspent money home with me!

 I'll be planning a couple of nights in Bangkok with the surplus. P*****a's loss will be Bangkok's gain!

 

 Some barowners need to get a grip on the jabby-dabby phone disease. You'd think these things were ATMs the devotion they get, rather than the actual customer who pays for the bloody things! 

 I just hope NingNong was as tough on our lot as i am, whilst i was away! I'll be scrutinising the daily takings sheet very carefully, over the weekend!

The lack of interest in customers in some bars is appaling while the "harrasment" in a few is disturbing. I find that bars like La Bamba has a good balance.
