As I see it one problem is you are trying to make a determination in a short time if you want stay with someone for 10 days. You may very likely decide in a day or two or three (or a night) you don't like the LB you choose. Plus if you have never been to Thailand you likely don't have a good idea about what to expect from Thai LBs. IMO you should at least spend some time getting the feel for Thai LBs before you try and commit. Then be prepared, or perhaps even expect, that you might not want to keep her around for 10 days. I'm not a long time kind of guy but I would probably play the shorter time game for a few days and get the feel of the scene and then maybe go for something longer time if you find someone you really like. I certainly wouldn't want to take one of the first LBs I seem to like when I don't know if there might be something better available.

 

I personally find the thought of taking a LB shopping frightening.   But that is just me.

Good advice from xyzzy and bumgoh. It sounds cliche - but chemistry is vital to having a good time with an lb - especially if you're planning to spend an extended time with her.

 

I would also advise don't be over eager looking for that "long time" lb. This is your first trip, in Nana Plaza area alone there are over 300 lbs in the various bars there. In the Patpong area another 150-200 or so, and at Soi Cowboy, about 20-30, Darkside has around 10-15.  You'll also see some freelancers on the streets, more so after the bars close. Some lb bargirls may look for a customer if they had a slow night at the bar and need the extra money. The freelancers will generally be on the streets nearby.

Yeah as some of the previous posters mentioned I would ease into it slowly. Take a few days up front to play the field and see what's out there. When you find someone you like and you click with, start off with a deal for a day or two max you can always extend it. Agree on a price up front; make sure the price includes any bar fines as well if she is going to miss work. Also I would be very cautious and not let your guard down entirely. I think i spoke with a slight lack of compassion, my guess is the girls napping n relaxing once taken out of the bar and around there country is just them getting some long over due rest from he fast pace of life they live day in and day out, i guess just follow the heart and enjoy the ride but even still unless u find a real special connection i wouldn't try to make one via a day or week sojourn, so many of the girls even ten years in the game are still each season learning how to swim again... think damsel in distress.
