I'm sorry my inexperience: what is a party precisely? What do you do during the parties? How much costs to participate in a party? Thanks for some info.

oh that Halloween party should be something to see, most nights at most lb bars one could just as easily show up with an empty pillow case and say 'trick or treat'' like its the 31st everyday and see if some meat on a stick is perhaps the Asian bite size snickers that is given out , something about 30 year old gay men in drag with sharpie eyebrows that seems so pagan-

A party can occur at any bar if it is a member of staff's birthday, for example, or any other sort of celebration, any excuse really. The bar will make people aware of such events.

 

In addition, anyone can arrange to have a party at any bar. They pay the bar a fee to host it, which may include food, a roast pig, balloons, sexy girl's outfits, or any combination of anything, whatever they want etc.. Basically it is up to the person who wants the party to arrange with the bar manager what they want and pay accordingly. Almost anything is possible.

 

It costs nothing to attend or participate in a party, just buy drinks as normal and enjoy yourself. Everybody is welcome at every party unless otherwise stated (I've never seen that stated).

 

There is no bar named Balloon Chaser.

 

A 'balloon chaser' is the name applied to a person who tends to only visit a bar when a party is being held in order to make the most of the free food available while spending no money or minimal money on drinks etc.. I.e. he chases the balloons, because balloons = free food.

 

Hopefully that wraps-up any questions on this thread and we can get back to announcing parties
