All our friends and customers. The small alleyway between Soi 5 and Soi 7 is about to be developed and turned into shops. Soon, you will not be able to access CIB from this alleyway. The only entrance to the bar is from Soi 7 and entering via the hotel. WE ARE NOT CLOSING AND WILL CONTINUE AS NORMAL. The only change is to businesses within the Alley, not under the hotel

The seedy narrow lane that connects Sukhumvit sois 5 and 7 is known as The Tunnel. It's home to hole-in-the-wall bars, a pool hall, tiny massage booths, street food stalls, characters and cretins. The Tunnel won't be of this world much longer and is going to be torn down next month to make way for what is being described as a "market lane". As the Middle Eastern area spreads out beyond sois 3 and 3/1, word is that the market will be targeted at Middle Eastern customers. Construction is expected to take 3 months (which strikes me as a long time so I guess they have elaborate plans) and The Tunnel will be closed for that period - so presumably you won't be able to use it as a cut through between 5 and 7.

Has anyone seen Sara (Lisa) recently? She doesn't seem to be in any of the party photos. The last time I saw her was in a birthday video where she holding the cake. The video was posted on CIB's FB page.
I met her a month ago and thought she was wonderful. It would be a shame if she stopped working at CIB or elsewhere. I was planning to see her again on my next visit to BKK in August.
Any news BMs?
