Hi Guys, this bar looks awesome! Im in bkk next weekend and will definately check it out. Theres an earlier post aaying that there is a hotel located above the bar? Anyone know the name of this hotel? It seems the ideal place to stay for me! Thanks, P.
Well I "stayed" in two of their rooms, don't remember or didn't see a name, but very good for short time rooms. Clean, one room even had a fridge, maybe a little basic for staying longer though.

The hotel is called 'Bangkok 7 Inn'. Very simple 24 room hotel. Rates are from 800b-1100b night depending on the type of room. I will dig up some photos i have seen on Facebook.
no website, just telephone and email to book a room.

Is this Check Inn Bar located in the space occupied by the old seafood food court in soi 7 or the old New Wave Bar?
Neither - its the other side of the street, in the tunnel linking soi 7 to soi 5.
