STOP OVERPAYING, please grasp this .
start underpaying...... no tips, no taxi money just a 1000 baht. there is nothing to talk about, they work for us.

I find myself having an awful lot of sympathy with your comments (the ones I understand) Boomdraw ole boy.
For my part, while I'm most definitely not a high payer, I do like to pay a fair wage if the services rendered were at the very least satisfactory, but 3000 Baht (£60.00) to a Pattaya LB is quite absurd especially when you see how many service providers there are in this place.

Don't think there's any rule or guidelines.. you're on holidays and you go with flow.. you're there 1 week or two and you want to put the all experience in a accountant perspective..?
Having clarified that, I like to play a little bit during the negotiations and find that girls like it too,usually. And after I win their confidence ( no more than 3 or 4 minutes) just propose my usual magic words : 700 baht, ok?
During my dozens of trips I don't recall ever spent more that 1000 for S/T (sometimes even including B/F ) and ,mind you, I'm NOT Brad Pitt

It's not LOVE it's LUST.
Unless it's a Long time acquaintance (Years on Years) I'd stick to the 1K, specially if on top of that you had to pay Bar fine and drinks, that's close to 2k+ by now
