Saturday Night

 

 A handful of dedicated BMs made this into a memorable saturday night. I don't think the visiting tourists could believe it !

 A great atmosphere again last night, and my sincere thanks to the guys for getting the party spirit going.

 

Waas puts on an amazing show and starts things off. Parading, semi-naked round the bar seems to signal the start of party time

As my guest, Fah received a lot of attention....and a LOT of drinks. Accompanied by 8 bell-rings, and being young i suppose, she passed out at 2.30.

 

 Jen gave me a hand to carry her to a tuk-tuk for the transport to The Skylab (300 BT !) and assisted with getting down the 40 steps and into safety.

 

 She's just had an Uncle Jimbo lecture on "Knowing Your Limits", with the warning that next time i'll leave her where she falls.

Sunday Night

 

 Loy Kratong

 

 Becoming over-commercialised in Patong with everybody trying to sell you flowers and banana-leaf rafts. And the entire length of Soi Bangla turned into an "authentic" market selling overpriced barbecued meats and odd looking desserts.

 But it still manages a certain charm with the floating rafts and endless stream of lanterns drifting up into the night sky.

 

 Some of the more affluent staff donned their traditional costumes:

After hours at No 1 bar, and what could have been an awkward moment with Fah & Belle meeting up, turned into a great success with the girls getting on like a house on fire, cackling away like loons comparing notes on my anatomy!

Fatboy was in CPH last night...so we ended up in one small thai-hooker bar with a couple of LB`s drinking Singhas

 

it almost tasted like Thailand for a while   but they tried to "sell" me a ST for aprox. 9.000 thb
