Hi guys.
Recently back from my trip to cold wet England. Got a new passport, as the "old" one was full of bloody entry/exit stamps! It still had 4 years to run, but there was just nowhere left to put the visa stamps. Cost me 137 quid for a new fat one, done same day! Ffs!

Well, i have hesitated before opening my big mouth before, but it does seem the worst Low Season of all time is finally over, thank God! We're currently running at twice the pace of the last 3 months. But it must be said, the place isn't exactly falling down with european tourists. In fact we're being greatly helped by expats from Singapore who can get here so easily on a direct flight. Thankfully Singapore isn't suffering from the same plight as the rest of the civilised world. They at least have sensible politicians with a mind for sound economics, not like the euro clowns !

Anyway here's a few pics to be going on with, before i get into a euro-rant!

Great to see you posting SurinNix. We miss you too - its been a while!

Thankfully, this month has seen a marked improvement in turnover as we move into High Season.

We're busy preparing for our conquest of P*****a, which is giving me a nervous breakdown ! I will never ever ever again try to organise an outing involving both staff and customers! Deep respect to Karl & Lita who managed to stage many Road Trips without seeming to have too many problems.

Jim, sorry I wasn't able to see you again after you ducked out of C&D temporarily. I intended to say goodbye properly but had an unexpected opportunity on a side-foray to Soi Seadragon. Not a bad outcome but it unravelled the plans for my last night in Phuket.

Thanks very much again for your hospitality. A fun time was had at C&D with a good crew in town over the period. I hope future visits coincide with others and look forward to seeing the girls again of course.


On a separate note:-

What. The. Fuck. Happened. To. Bangkok.

Hopefully it was just last night, but it is just depressing compared to the same time last year. The best thing about last night was Burger King.

Feeling better today after seeing a doctor. But I can only hope tonight is as good as last night was bad.
