Look forward to receiving the car's value, casanova - hope its an expensive model, lol


Dude the current value of the car is around 270,000 Baht. Hope it covers the expense lol

Jokes apart, the trip for me is mandatory before Dec this yr

I've taken the liberty to post your montage of Sonya, Von Zest.

Very nice work sir, these are among the best pictures ever posted on the forum.

Are you still maintaining you never use flash? I can see faint shadow on the floor & I suspect some bounced light is the cause. Whatever you did, it works a treat.

Though you are using some serious gear to get these. The EXIF data is removed from these pictures but on your last shots of Sonya when I asked about the lighting & you claimed "there is always enough light, you just need to find it", I was able to see you were shooting at f1.4.

f1.4!!! No wonder you could find the light where others fail, that is one bloody expensive lens. In your hands, well worth it though. More pictures please.


Thanks for sharing. And thanks for your kind words. I dont shoot Flash. Period. Shoot high speed to get the light in. The lens I used here is Voigtlander 1.1, its nice and soft, great for candid portraiture. Most modern lenses are to harsh and unflattering for model IMO. Prefer shooting 1.4, manual focus below that is tricky to hit critical. Gear doesn't really matter for web pics (these are taken with the Leica M9P, FF further allowing light to come in). Really, anything will do just get some fast glass, these days the ISO performance is ok (albeit 'smearing' image through noise reduction). Again, I just have a cam and fast glass, and natural light, day or night, et voila. Anyway, back to the thread. Ill post some more soon. -Ish. Keep shooting, and then some ^_^

Maybe not Newbs but new IDs for some disgruntled FM. They just had a similar exchange in the Off Topic forum.

I am sure Jimbo will be impressed. I'm guessing they will be gone soon.

I removed the posts because they were actually offensive and contributed nothing other than further ire to this thread.

Jim and others do us a huge favour with their contributions and while I appreciate these fellas may have an opinion to express it in such a manner isn't on.
