Interesting, Matchman. So far i really like iOS5 with iCloud , but i know what you mean about not being able to remove things. Thats one of my peeves with apple stuff, you can't delete things the PC way.
You can't delete a song in your iPhone , but have to go through iTunes ( which is a nightmare program itself) and add a new playlist without the song and then sync the playlist with iPhone.
The general feel is that apple controls too much in your daily use of their products.
Having that said, i recently switched from pc to mac mac , and so far no regrets at all.
iMessage is so damn good, it collects all type of messaging in one place, and gives you a great overlook.
Text, mail, twitter, Facebook etc. In this day and age when no one emails anymore, but rather use instant messaging i find iMessage exactly along with Steve Jobs motto "make my life easier". It really does
