Has anyone ever flown Thai Airways from BKK to LA in the Royal Silk Class? How would you rate it?
Thanks.

There is currently a promotion to LA if you leave before 14 July. A business class ticket R/T is 98.000 baht.

Business class is generally quite good with Thai and even better if you fly on the leased 777's. You may check which equipment is used on specific flights on this excellent site:

They use their Airbus A 340-500 on this route.
The Seat in C Class there goes not fully flat it is just angled.

Suryo is correct TG currently uses a A340-500 on the LAX-BKK, they just leases some B777 but I do not know what route they will be servicing. I flew using Prem Econ for about $2300USD roundtrip(LAX-HKT), not too bad about 1/3 of Royal silk. Need the money for LB's and such. Enjoy your trip
