Hi all, newbie to the forum
I will be in BKK soon for a few days but unfortunately at best will have a few hours to kill to have some fun and likley this will be late afternoon (4-8ish) I know my way around but have not been since 2004 so what is mt best bet. I see guess bar is open in the day, is this my best option? I want an active girl without any attitute looks being a lot less important than her being fun (lets face it they all look pretty damn good!)
Any advice would be great

Your only alternative to any gals which may be available during the afternoon in Guess Bar is to seek out some phone numbers and arrange a meet at one of the many short time hotels in the Nana vicinity.
Unlike Pattaya, the Bangkok LB bar scene does not spring into life until around 8pm.

There is also Pinocchio's Bar Bar located in Patpong 2. This opens at 2 in the afternoon.

Alternatively there are usually a few LBs on the Sukhumvit most of the day near the Starbucks (Soi 5 or Soi 3/1). I've seen a few more than presentable ones along with some scary ones...

Still in the same place then, a few always used to hang out around that part of Sukhamvit, although never looked as healthy as you night like! If anyone can think of any other places in BKK please let me know. I will def have between about 4-8 free maybe more but that would only be earlier as I am meeting someone later that evening.
Are there likley to be many girls in Guess bar during the day? If so who is the best top.
Also on the very remote off chance that I get the whole day free i may try and shoot down to and back from patts in the day. How much in a taxi and whats the best place to get one? If i did where best to head to for daytime fun , soi 6 I guess?

Daytime soiree' to Patts from BKK is definatey do-able.
Taxis are no problem. Given your circumstances, I wouldn't waste too much time trying to find "the best deal". Just find a taxi, any taxi, and haggle the price. I chose the first taxi driver i found on Khao Sahn Road, and withing seconds had my ride to Patts.
1500 Baht. I know you can get cheaper, but i was in no mood to haggle, and it was worth it. Less than an hour later, we're in Patts.
Since it's a day-trip for you, you don't need a hotel......just two legs and some cash.
Hit walking street. (or Soi 6). Stroll and keep your eyes open. Lots of LB bars mentioned on this site. Freelancers abound. (be careful).
You can meet and greet, beat your meat, and be in the seat of your taxi back home in an easy 5-6 hours, with time for a few beers, a little chat, and a ST with a friendly LB within those constraints.
Reverse the process (same price for taxi).....and you are home for dinner, and everyone back in BKK is none the wiser.
Go for it!
