We are all familiar with the main resorts in Los, but what about the places we may have heard about but not know much about. Hopefully this thread will let us share our images of Thailand and perhaps give some BMs ideas about places to visit while there.

I'll kick it off with a place I enjoyed visiting earlier in the year, Ayutthaya. It's a nice day trip away from Bangkok, wonderful for anyone interested in the history of Thailand. Feel free to add any relevant photos you may have of the places, or scenes of Thailand in general.

Wonderful photos there BB....I love the ancient sights and monuments of SE Asia, I once spent three days just wandering around Angkor Wat enjoying every moment.

Thanks PT. Yea I fully agree it's quite refreshing and mind clearing to get away from the bar scene for a while and take in the culture of our surroundings.

great pics bb, the peace and tranquility must of been a refreshing change.
however for guys like myself, due to work commitments, can only spend roughly2 weeks at a time in los, so all i really see is the bar scene which is really a great pity.

Cheers Pan man and I know where you are coming from. You really need a long spell in Los to check out the backwaters and venture further afield, something guys cannot really do on a 2 weeker. Hopefully some more BMs will contribute photos from other outposts of Thailand.

Fantastic shots of Ayutthaya BB

A great place to spend time. Took a nice boat ride back into BKK at night after a great day visiting the temples. Thinking of spending a few days relaxing there on my next trip.
