I was in AC for six nights early last month. Finally getting around to writing it up. It was mostly a GG trip but there was some LB action.

Hosto Bars:

There are a number of what are called hosto bars. These bars will have signs outside usually saying they have a show and comedy. You can get an idea from the picture below.

Friday night two other board members and I decide to give Cuzi Bar a try. You can see the Midnight Rodeo Bar in the SW edge of this map: http://www.acmap.com/map.asp?map=f5 If you are staying in the main part of Fields Avenue this is by far the closest hosto bar. From Fields avenue go down Raymond Street until you see Roy's Country Western Pub (country western pub, WTF!). Turn right and go to Midnight Rodeo Bar then go upstairs via the outdoor staircase at the left of the building.

We weren't quite sure what we would find when we entered. But upon entry we saw a few LBs. We sit down and order drinks. The first drink on the menu was twice as much as the following drinks. What we didn't know was that actually got us two of whatever we ordered. Much like any show that requires a two drink minimum. The not terribly attractive LB mamasan/owner ask what we were into and we told her LBs.

All three of us were joined by a LB. I had a reasonably attractive one with decent hormone tits that was a lot of fun. One of the other guys had a nice looking LB that seemed very shy. And the other BM was joined by a LB with a show costume. We asked how much LDs were and thought we were told 150 pisos but when they arrived it turned out they were 250p (US$5.70).

I had quite a good time with my girl. She was seriously working little xyzzy as we necked. I got her phone number for later but circumstances caused me to never call her. I think at least one of the other guys had a somewhat less active LB. The mamasan would join in and stroke us. She had a way to firm grip as one BM told her although she didn't get the hint.

The show was pretty bad. There would be a song or two of boys doing some kind of supposedly sexy dance routine. Then a LB lip sync number or two that were terrible. The lip syncing wasn't even close. The show girl that was sitting with one of they guys got up and probably did the best routine but it was pretty lame. I don't really like LB cabarets but this one was bad by any standard IMO.

Am sorry I went? No, but I didn't really have any desire to go back. I did get the phone number of a decent LB that I could have called and I was a bit wiser for the experience.

Saturday night one of the BMs and I decided to try Club Primo Hosto Bar. Acutally he wanted to go and I couldn't resist tagging along. It is bar #21 on this map: http://www.acmap.com/map.asp?map=p5 This was a large bar with a large stage. When we arrived there was a very cute LB and a not so cute one doing a request karaoke/comedy routine. We sat by the stage and were asked our names, where we were from, etc. After this some Tagalog followed where we were likely made fun of to the few locals that were in attendance.

The show here also consisted of a couple of songs where boys did dance routines followed by a couple of songs where around seven LBs did a two song routine. These routines were much better than the previous bar if you like that sort of thing. The very cute LB and one other I liked were in the show. However there were no LB hostesses available to sit with the customers. The LBs didn't come out to mingle with customers between performances. So this wasn't the greatest place on this night. BTW drinks were also twice as much for the first round. While I did get two beers for that price the other BM only got one rum and coke.

If you look at the same map used for Primo you will see #1 is the Cottage Kitchen restaurant. There is a hosto bar next door that someone recommended to me before. But we didn't make it to this bar. Also there is one more hosto bar along the way that I don't think is on the map. Didn't get to stop in there either. BTW the restaurant is run by a couple of Afro Americans so if you are looking for soul food in the Philippines, or other American dishes, it is a good place to eat. Albeit a bit expensive.

That wraps up the hosto bars. It was a bit intimidating going into these bars so I wrote it up in some detail. It is nice to have a wing man if you go into these places. If you aren't familiar with AC the farther out bars like Primo and beyond are out on what is called the perimeter road. I would exercise caution at night, especially late, and use transportation.

Street Walkers

Two month before we arrived the police did a sweep to get all the LBs off the streets. By the time we arrived there were LBs back on the streets. Some of them are attractive and some not. It depends on what you like and many will not compare with Thai LBs.

A bit of a warning about SW in AC. If they know you like LBs they may end up following you around. You could go in a GG GoGo and they might still be there when you come out. You could end up being like the Pied Piper. :D :nonono:  One BM was known to the LBs even though he hadn't been with any of them. He developed a small following while we were walking around AC. I was walking a bit ahead of him and one of the LBs walked up to me and said "Your friend likes lady boys". He stopped, spoke to them, and mostly politely told them to go away. This worked and they left him alone. But if he was someone with a str8 mate this would have been a disaster. Just a slight warning

I can't believe I did that...

It was very late Friday night/Saturday morning (same night as Cuzi) around 3:30 AM. One BM went off to a disco with a LB SW. One BM and I decide to hit a couple of GG GoGos. We walking into a GoGo and there was a LB mamasan. I have never seen a LB in a GoGo in AC and I have spent a considerable amount of time in AC over the years (about three months total). I guess the testosterone from Cuzi was flowing and I went over and sat next to her and bought her a drink. Her bar fine was twice the normal bar fine so that was out of the question. But she was apparently surprised and excited by the attention. She clocked out at 3:45, 15 minutes before the GoGo closed, and we left together with no BF.

As I said I have never seen a LB in a GoGo in this mostly homophobic monger destination. So what do I do? I take her into another GoGo. We sat near the end of the GoGo stage, in the corner, and necked. This apparently caused quite a reaction by the girls on stage and the those that were trying to figure out what the girls were looking at. At least that is what I'm told as my attention was elsewhere. Perhaps my finest hour demonstrating I am a LB lover in public. :FU:  Later we went to a Filipino karaoke off Fields and stayed about an hour.

After that back to my hotel. She was a lot of fun but very inexperienced. I changed that a little but went very slowly. But her very hard erection indicated she was very into the session. She stayed until about 10 AM and then went off to see her family. I put a little money in her purse before she left and she asked me why. :D It could have been a freebie but I told her to take the money.

Sunday night, I think her night off, she showed up at my hotel looking for me. The guard wouldn't let her in and there was a bit of a scene. One BM happen to arrive while she was there and called me. I stayed away but probably shouldn't as she probably just wanted to see me. But we weren't quite sure at the time so I stayed away.

So there are my limited adventures in AC finally, FWIW

Sounds like AC is out for LB's, how were the GGs? Did you ever get to Cebu or Manila?
Thanks.

I was actually somewhat encouraged by the LB scene. Especially if one wants to sprinkle in an occasional LB on a mostly GG trip. But it takes a little work.

I always say the PI GGs are more passionate and seemingly less mercenary than their Thai counterparts. But this is the subject of endless arguments on Thai GG boards.

Only went to AC. Flew in and out of AC/Clark Field. When I do go to Manila I usually start the trip there. It is generally so much more expensive, especially if you hit the clubs on P. Burgos Street, you will go into sticker shock after going to AC.

Sounds like Manila is like Bangkok, and AC is like Patts.

Hi xyzzy - good detail. I am literally amazed that you can remember all that!

I think that you are actually being slightly generous in your comments about the Hosto Bars. On reflection (and sober) they were really very bad. Kind of made sense at the time though...you never know whats round the corner.

Cheers.

I didn't think I said much nice about the hosto bars except I got lucky and got a decent LB in Cuzi. I guess the hosto bars were weird enough that I still remember pretty much every detail. Strange as I usually have a terrible short time memory.

It was a pleasure hanging out with you.
