Hello to all BMs!
I am researching about hotels in Palawan because of upcoming trip. I have already searched palawan hotels on google but still didn't found what i'm searching for. Maybe some of BMs have this information. So, i search for good hotel not far from Palawan in Puerto Princessa also with short walk to the beach. My budget for hotel is 40-50$ a day. Also, if someone can give me tips about beachside regions, i will appreciate that too.

Ok Raver here is some info:

Puerto Princesa is the main town / city on Palawan island. Don't know of too much there that is actually on the beach at your budget. There is though a Microtel which is on the beach and is about $70-00 plus per night. For cheap accommodation and an ok beach head up to Port Barton on the west coast of Palawan. El Nido in the north of Palwan is stunning with dozens of beautiful islands in the area to see and there a fair number of cheap (but not particularly special) places to stay there.

If you like diving go to Coron which is off the north end of Palawan on Busuanga. Cheap place to stay as well.

Elsewhere:

Boracay: beautiful beaches, very very popular, hundreds of places to stay, ok nightlife as well

Puerto Galera: Coco Beach near PG is a fair place to head for a long weekend. nearby Sabang has lost most of it's beach bit is quite lively as well. Fair number of things to do around this area.

Bohol: Alona Beach on Panglao Island is a nice but small strip of bars and restaurants

Malapascua Island: small, very quiet, nice beach

Subic: some ok-ish beaches up there.

i don't know of beachside in puerto (casa inn was a decent place in town though for $20). el nido is a better option, you can easily get beachfront rooms on the ok beach for $20. just get one when u arrive.
el nido has loads of great islands to see with boat trips for a few days. whereas puerto just has a one day boat trip, u can also visit the underground river but its basically just a long cave.

coron doesnt have budget beachfront rooms, but if you can afford it sangat island is worth it for $200 a night all inclusive.

so go for el nido, the many islands are great. coron needs more money but it great too, i think puerto is only good for a base to do day trips to honda bay and sabang.

I'm sorry for delay, guys. I got your pm, DexterHines, it is very informative. Thanks to all for information. I still think about where to go. When i began this topic, i had plan to visit non-bar GG in palawan. But now she not want to see me so i will search for GG in bars. I think to checkout Angeles bar scene but it will be a bit hard to find GG which a good swimmer. So if i find her i plan to go with her to palawan or other good island. Or, as alternative, i can spent some days in angeles and barfine several girls a day and then go to island with non-bar girl. Also one of GGs which i dated with on fillipinaheart said that she can find good girl for me for whole vacation. But i think it's too good to be true and i will date with crime person in that way. So maybe just go Angeles for some days and then to Thailand for swim and more barfines. So, my question is, how are you guys think, which way is better and safer ?
P.S. i know that it is lb forum, but i prefer lbs from Pattaya

I've never been there but I think Puerto Gallera is the best bet for you. Stay in Sabang for the girls, then when you find one(s) you take them to the nearby White Beach in the daytimes.

I agree with Rayton above. You should also think about Boracay. Best known island here. great beaches (although pretty cowded at busy times), lots of nightlife, loads of stuff to do, no GG bars but plenty of freelancers inc some LB's, very friendly place, diving, golf, swimming, parties, resorts at all levels of budget, one hour flight from Manila etc. Whats not to like?

I'm still thinking about where to go. Sabang at Puerto Galera looks like good place to stay but today i read forum about Philippines and one guy wrote that he just come back home from Puerto Galera and in bars was really many koreans. Koreans barfine all beautiful filippinas and do this very early about 20 minutes after bar opening. And they pay usually more than western people. So, now it looks like there is nobody to hook up with at Puerto Galera. Boracay looks like good alternative but i go there on first week of january and there will be very many people and i think filippinas will ask for big sums of money because of peak season and many customers available. Now i'm thinking maybe better go to Puerto Princessa for nightlife and during daytime go to nearest beach. But at forums not much info about Puerto Princessa. So, if someone have expierence with nightlife and beaches at Puerto Princessa or not far from it, i will be happy to read it.
Looks like koreans more and more occupy Philippines and spent there very much money, it can spoil filippinas like it happened with thai girls.
Also, what you guys think about pinoy girls in Angeles city ? I read at another forum that there are many lesbians in bars of Angeles which making it hard to barfine straight girls. And many of girls are look not so good like in other regions of Philippines

Raver- yes it is true, many Koreans in Philippines. However, jesus man, there are so many girls (and LB's) everywhere you won't notice.

Angeles is best bet if you want straight up GG for barfine. I only went to Sabang because I have been to Angeles about (hmm, let me think about 19 times in the last 3 years and was looking for something different-like ladyboys!).

During peak season prices will be higher, but there will be so many different options you won't know where to stick your todger.

Cebu and Sabang both have plenty of LB's with accompanying beaches and fun stuff not far away.
