I liked the fact that they were done for advertising WITHIN the establishment. I understood that the law prevents public, ie seen outside, displays, anything not visible from the street is OK.

In theory this also means that the drinks menus themselves are illegal as they show the products available :harhar:

If you need a foam beer cooler in Thailand with their icey cold beer you are obviously not drinking it quick enough :clapclap: :clapclap:

I don't know about that Dav. I've left many a Pattaya Bar because their beer wasn't cold enough.

The beer I had in Linda's Bar last night was frozen, I had to leave it out of it's (non advertising) cooler cup for a while before I could get a slug.

IB,

Speaking of advertising, since Donald Sutherland (a Canuck) was playing someone other than a Yank, one can assume he was using the King's English (period relevance!), a language with which you are somewhat familiar, and hence it would have been "We've got it by the arse"

See what sending out them negative waves did, Moriarty? Oddball was a Yank in a Tank so the quote is correct! Enjoy http://www.imdb.com/...t0065938/quotes

BTW just been watching Sons of Anarchy. The VP is a Brit, there's a Jock and at least one Canuck :D
