In face, my mother in the country told me that people who join the red shirt mob obtain 500 baht/day + free breakfast, lunch and dinner. No moving if no money.

Actually I'm told the going rate was 2000 baht for the weekend rally.

The reds bought an election or three and the yellows stole it away from them. What a country...

I suggest we show some respect to our host nation. Believe me reds have their own reasons why they want situation to change... let me see how you would live at least decent life with 80-100 EUR/month around stores full of fancy farang stuff. Just a day in Korat made me think. I think best is to leave politics to Thai and just hope they will remain nonviolent and do what they are about to do peacefully.
