General tourist question once again ...

How much do we have to spend every day for food, taxies and so on in Bangkok ... ? 2500 bath (50 euro) ?

Daily budget could be for instance :
Nana Hotel = 1100 bath / night
Expenses (food ...) = 2500 bath
Fun (ladyboys ...) = 4000 bath
Total = 7600 bath / day (155 Euro)

As an average budget without any craziness is it ok or too much or not enough ?

:)
should I stay or should I go

I believe in general your budget make sence, maybe too much on food, let say you eat 3 times a day, every time is about 500, so all together is 1500, not 2500. Ladyboys budget include drinks? Let see: barfine 600, ST 1500, your drinks and lady drinks 150 each maximum, let say even 6 like that, soall together is 3000 baht. Your budget is on the high side, I would say you will save some money. And I think Nana hotel is better.

Check out this link for plenty of shopping in Bangkok under one roof.

Thailand is great for cheap clothing, footwear, pirated software & music, and traditional handicrafts. It's a shoppers paradise !

1. first visits to Thailand (or anywhere) are often more expensive because it takes time to figure out how to get the good deals. It is reasonable to expect that it will take some time before knowing the good deals. It happens to most of us I think.

2. Unexpected expenses could come up, so you have to factor in emergency money.

3. It is difficult to know who to trust at first and it is worth hedging this problem through the judicious use of money.

For example, in the absence of information, you won't know if it is safe to eat at various street vendors. It is best to pay more to eat at a good restaurant, and increase you chance of safety rather than risk getting intestinal problems. If you have a three week holiday, you do not want to be sick for four of those days. It's better to pay a little more if that will solve the problem (and if you can afford it).

The same idea can apply to other areas as well. You might not know if you can trust a tuk-tuk driver. It might be better to pay extra to use someone you can trust.

Answers to questions may exist, but if you don't know the answers at the time you have to make a decision, then it may be best to be conservative.

Of course you will have to take chances, but take those chances on things that really count (like who you will choose to take home).

4. You want to be relaxed, and you want to be at your best physically and mentally, so you can enjoy yourself. Getting sick or getting upset can ruin some of your holiday. If you can afford to eliminate these disturbances by paying extra, it may be worth it.
