Events like these are obviously good for meeting ladyboys. There's usually a few in the crowd as well as those competing. Although the general public doesn't do it, there's absolutely nothing stopping anyone from wandering backstage and chatting to the ladyboys. Many of them are looking for LTR but short term fun isn't out of the question.

I guess you have to take into consideration where they are. The scene here is minuscule compared to LOS and the ones in the P4P scene in LOS are generally better looking than the average Thai ladyboy.
There are however a few gems in the mix here, some competing and a couple in the crowd who could hold their own compared to their Thai counterpart.
I guess if your standards are that high then LOS is the place to be. It is more convenient for me to have a local ladyboy who I can see pretty much whenever it suits me, rather than have to do a trip to LOS every so often.

I just spouted my first impression - didn't say they're ugly, just huge (kinda like a lot of Aussie women).
Some huge girls - LB included, can be utterly lust provoking, for me, anyway. Sophie Dahl, the supermodel, was one - after fame she slimmed down, and is now boring and unknown. She was perfect to begin with, but went with the market paradigm.
Sorry for thoughtlessly introducing a very negative note to this valuable thread. All ladyboys are interesting, and this forum can & is doing a lot to add to the real information that the world has about LB's.

Yeah, I guess it is the main event for Melbourne each year. There are other events throughout the year though, but it is a great opportunity to meet and talk to the ladyboys.
