Yes indeed putytat, this has been a popular type of (easy target) theft ever since I have been going to Pattaya......along with using an ATM machine at the wrong time while the Russian scam artists have been at work or a small group of Thai kids are waiting to roll you over on completion of the transaction.

i also never take my decent watch to thailand.
