I understand that there will be no selling of alcohol on the 2 days of Buddist Lent, July 7-8. Does this mean Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy and Patpong will be closed? I will be arriving that evening. Phuket seems to be a bit more relaxed than Bangkok. Do you think Soi Crocodile be closed?
Bars closed during Lent?

It usually means most bars will be open as usually, but only selling soft drinks (and if you're lucky the odd crafty beer can be had).
