is novotel hotel nice..?
There are quite a number of "Novotel" hotels in Bangkok, so not sure which one you were meaning.
As a general rule, the "Novotel" hotels are 3-4 star ratings and offer a pretty decent standard of accommodation.

Remember to book a twin or double room to avoid being asked to pay joiner fees (unless you like sleeping alone) !
