Just thought I'd let all of those who wish to call Thailand from the UK know of a good value service for 2p per minute (+VAT). Both for Thai landline and Thai mobile numbers.

There are a few 1p per minute services out there, but I found www.dialabroad.co.uk to be a reliable service, with clear lines every time and the costs are genuine with no extras. I kept records and my bills are accurate and true.

Chat to your teeruk from home for hours without eating into your Thai travel funds :mrgreen:

If you have a UK BT line there are plenty of 1p per minute numbers out there, I've used a few and rarely had a problem with line quality and always hbeen charged 1p per min as advertised.

No need to use the 2p Mr. Big Spender!

Have been using voipdiscount.com for a few years now, really good service can make calls from you computer or landline. just top up with 12 euros every 90 days and you get 300 free minutes each week to mobiles and landlines in thailand and to landlines in the UK / USA and most of the world. so i use it for free for the 90 days. Then i use my 12 euros up at 1 euro cent a minute to thailand so have 1200 minutes. Then just top up again and do the same every 4 to 5 months.

A hell of a lot cheaper and you also have 0161 and 0141 numbers you can use from your mobile if you have bundled minutes
