Most of the girls there are *HOT*... wonder if someone could compare TJ to those photos (if they're like that I may be moving to TJ!)

I've seen that site and it is amazing, I find Mexican trannys so much more attractive than white ones. I would say there are a couple in Eclipse and a couple in Bambi's that are as attractive as the TGs on that site, but not every night. Yvonne in Bambi's, Christina and Jennifer in Eclipse I would put in that category. and I've seen one SG that was almost that hot. The rest... not so much. Chicks like that are rare and there does not seem to be any tranny escort scene in TJ.

Anybody know if things have calmed down in TJ? The drug cartels have really been acting up over by Texas, and TJ saw some bad times just a couple months ago.

I would say the drug gang violence is about the same, I really don't worry about it too much as it is gangs going after gangs and gangs going after cops. Most of the violence is outside the tourist areas.

There was a huge shootout in April between rival gangs, seems a little quieter since, maybe with 15 of their hit men dead the gangs are lying low and there is still a large army presence.

The TSG action is about the same, but man there are some ugly transvestites on 1st during the day, I have no interest in them. Haven't been at night recently. Also I heard that Eclipse is closed but Bambi's is open.

Orange County seems to be the new hot spot for latina ts/tv. There are some real knockouts on the scene these days. Ive been doing pretty well up here as of late.

Just an update, as this thread has been dead for a long while. Bambis and the other clubs are closed. The only one left is the Zorro club (formerly el Tigre), I've never been impressed by the selection, but some guys have found decent talent there. 1st street north of Martinez is still the best place to find street girls. There are some good ones very late at night.

One change is that a group of trannys has moved to the more visible area of First near the arch, Currently there are 5 who hang out on first just across the street from El Fracaso. Unlike the ones further south these are not aggressive and will not approach you. Probably a concession for being in a more public area, there are always a lot of drunken a-holes in that area so maintaining a low profile is probably safer for them. They are much prettier than the female street girls on that block.

Had a good time for $40 from an SG further down First, prior to that I had some poor service and had not been back to the area for months.

I have not had a run in with the TJ cops once this year.

Hello All... newbie here.

First thanks to everyone for all the great info. I live in SF, but the gals here are 200-300 (out of my range) so thinking of going down to TJ

Anyway a newbie question... do most of you go there on your own or with friends? Since it's my first time I'm a bit nervous (I've mostly done SG here in SF... though some would find that scary). I would imagine it's "better" with backup/wingman (though maybe harder to say "found my gal... later dude").

 

 

Mexico is has increased a lot the number of trans during the last years...

We should remind that is a conservative country and it is not so easy to see them on public like in other popular countries such as spain.

 

When I travel for work to "mexico df" I usually visit some of the following bars with trans atmosphere.

 

 

1) Club Roshell: The main one where the ladyboy movement started on the capital. It is a must to go.

 

2) Hysteria: Trans shows during weekend. (lots of tourists..)

 

3) Wawis: kind of more calm place to drink something. 

 

So the 2 firsts one are for partying out more crazy and the third it is more for a calm drink with nice ladyboy atmosphere.
