Good on you mate!! And, good pick of the age. While the age of consent is similar in Thailand, if you have sex with someone (GG or LB) in P4P situation, that somone must at least 18. Otherwise you can be in deep shit! That's why there's so much talk of checking IDs.

It is not the legal age for sex but the legal age for prostitution which that is 18, I would keep it at least 18 even if she isn't a pro, that way you can not get in trouble.Hello,
You mention alot about checking ID. What is the legal age for sex in Thailand. In the UK it is 16. Do not want to get any trouble with a LB thats looks older than she is! I am late twenty's and pulled a 18 year old student yesterday, it was great!! I asked to see her ID though first as she looked really young.

Freaks is right, the legal age for prostitution is 18. Technically you can sleep with a girl who is 16/17 and it is legal if her/his parents give you their consent, but it would be almost impossible to prove if you were a farang and they would have no sympathy for you.
