Am putting some serious planning into my first trip to Thailand, have my flights booked as of today, I will be spending 2 weeks in total (a couple of days in Bangkok either side of a week in Pattaya) Decided on staying in the Dynasty inn Bangkok and Pattaya, but what is the best way of getting to Pattaya from Bangkok and back?
And is there any casino's in Thailand?
More advice needed please

No Casinos in Thailand yet...But it was on the cards however, with the country now under martial law doubtful it shall happen withinthe next 3-4 years.
Seeing as you intend to stay in a Dynasty owned establishment in both Pattaya and The Big Mango, your transportation between the two properties should be via the free shuttle bus which operates both ways.

Yes, Pat Tire is correct !
As long as you spend a minimum of 2 nights at one of the Dynasty Inn's Pattaya Hotels (payed for in advance in Bangkok) they will give you a free shuttle bus transfer door to door.
I think you may have to pay a fairly mimimal amount for the return trip, only a few hundred baht from memory.
For future reference there are no shortage of taxis and public buses assuming you weren't staying with the Dynasty group.
Also, the Dynasty Inn (Bangkok) in currently being renovated so it may be worth considering what impact this will have on room availability and more importantly construction noise.
Alternatively, The Dynasty Inn Grande around the corner is worth considering although the daily room rate is virtually double.

Am not going till march so the renovations in the dynasty should be finished by then(i hope). I'll be in pattaya for st patricks day and i'll be wearing my "kiss me am Irish" t-shirt for all the ladyboys and i cant fuckin wait !!!

Remember, things in Thailand happen at a slightly different pace than elsewhere.

I'd chose a night with a ladyboy over a couple of days watching horses run round a field anyday, but then in saying that i've done neither.

Actually I woulndt have the free shuttle from the Dynasty as a factor as the bus beside Ekamai is excellent and only about 100 baht.
I spent a lot of money on LB's in Nana Plaza, Patpong and Pattaya. The rest of the cash, I just squandered

What and where is Ekamai?
EKAMAI - The Eastern Bus Terminal
[ Soi 40, Sukhumvit Rd., Ekamai, tel. (02)391-2504 or (02)392- 2391]
Usually referred to as Ekamai, this is the one for Pattaya and towns in the southeast including Rayong and Trat province. Air conditioned buses depart for Pattaya every half hour between 5.30am and 11.00pm. The single fare is 90 baht per person. Depending on the traffic the trip takes about 2 hours.

Caught the bus from Ekamai back to Pattaya myself today
Nearly right KK, 91 Baht to be precise and although the bus made a few stops, journey time was 2hours 30 minutes.
There is a slightly more expensive service on the VIP coach also from Ekamai which is non stop however, I enjoyed todays trip as the only farang amongst a group of monks and some returning Bar Girls.
