Just booked into the hard rock , pattaya on the 10th june...need to get away from the uk and avoid football for 2 weeks...hate it.
Anyone got any reports on this place please.

hi, if i stay in pattaya i`ve booked every time hard rock hotel. Very friendly staff, nice rooms and absolutly lb and gg friendly. They check ths ID card and let your guests to your room, if them over 18. hyve fun...Peter

Different to what I heard about the Hard Rock but then again, I have never stayed there so am not really qualified to comment.
So far as going to Thailand to avoid the Football World Cup is concerned....Big Mistake :o Because World Cup feaver absolutely grips Thailand (and especially Pattaya) by the scruff of the neck. I have been in Pattaya for the last two World Cup's and being a football lover, the atmosphere and emotion is like being in the host country.

no worries mate , thanks for the advice.One good thing though , if Pattaya goes world cup crazy..there`s gonna be a hell of a lot of fit ladies up for the taking while all the guys are busy watching those lunatics kicking a lump of leather around a field.

Hard Rock has a 1500 baht joiner fee, stayed there in April 2006, its full of Japanese, very few bar girls mif any at all there, I nthink my was only one. Onlt stayed there cause my brother booked and paid for a room for me. Would not go there again, that bar fee was a killer. Better to use short time hotel and go back alone
