I have heard about prep, but have no idea how it works. Do you have to take it for a period of time before hand?
Also, I have heard people mention zitromax (I think that's what it's called). Can someone please explain to me what it is used for?
Any other tips to avoid any nasty surprises would be much appreciated.

PrEP take it for a week before you do anything to be affective. Use a rubber when ever possible but sometimes that goes out the window in the heat of battle. PrEP will protect you against HIV but that is all. I am going to Bangkok next week. I went to a clinic here in US had all test done and was given a PrEP prescription.

I always use protection, but often find my tongue in Lab's mouth (amongst other areas) and was wondering what safety does everyone use?

Using protection is crucial, but for oral safety, consider dental dams. PrEP is a daily pill to prevent HIV, needing a lead-in period before effective. Zitromax (azithromycin) treats bacterial infections. Regular STI testing and open communication are essential.
