Just returned from 10 days in Angeles and I have some disturbing news. The ladyboys have been banned on walking street and it appears to be real.  I was sitting at Phillies and there were at least a dozen plying their trade.  Suddenly they all were gone except 2 of them and they were picked up by the police and driven away.  I have my numbers so I was able to arrange some hookups but they were really nervous and I had to meet them and escort them back to my hotel.  After our playtime they insisted I escort them back to just ahead of Phillies.  Officialy they have been told the ladyboys have been robbing tourists hence the ban.  What they really believe is some of the more influential bar owners have influenced the police because of unwanted competition.  Not sure where it will end but my last 5 days I did not see one ladyboy on walking street,

I was on P. Burgos street in Makati late last year and it was going full blast. Huge amount of activity on the street with many attractive ladyboys and regular girls. I was with my girlfriend but I sure enjoyed the eye candy.

There are three other red light areas in Manila. Ermita (near Rizal Park on the waterfront) and Malate (south of Ermita) are next to each other and have many bars and street walkers. Further south is the EDSA entertainment complex in Pasay. I have not personally been to any of these three areas but there is plenty of info on the web about them.

Makati is an upscale area of Manila with a lot of malls, hotels and restaurants. Most foreigners who come to Manila will spend some time in Makati. P Burgos Street is the red light area of Makati.
