so for awhile now I've wanted to travel to Thailand for vacation. After the year of HELL for me (2 hurricanes in one month) I've decide to go ahead and start putting money aside for it. Life it is wayyy to short to not try new things. So when this whole covid garbage ends, I'm going to go. So I'm seeking advice from anyone that's been there. Which place is better to go for your 1st time Bangkok or Pattaya? And is there any other advice you can give a 1st time travel. like the best hotel ( i heard the Adelphi Suites and Aspen Suites are great hotels) whe nis the best months to go etc...

I’d recommend splitting your time between the 2 places. Both cities have amazing LBs. Somehow Pattaya seems edgier and the LBs more pushy. Not that I mind that at all. However For me the LBs in Bangkok are more beautiful
If you had to insist on one city above the other I would say go to Bangkok
