Recently had bb sex with lbs over a 3 wk period in Phils. . Now being perfectly open mostly it was me giving them blow jobs, a few non covered anal sex sessions although these lasted less than a min and they did not cum inside and a few covered anal sex sessions where once again I could not handle the pain and they did not come inside.

On the plane home some guy was coughing alot and combined with this and my reduced immune system from partying I have picked up a flu like condition. Now obviously my brain is playing havoc with the HIV infection debate.

I know the only true answer is a test but that's about 5 wks away for almost certainty that I haven't picked up anything but to try to quieten that voice any one with info re symptoms esp the difference between a cold /flu and HIV infection would help.

I did not have a rash, no pus, no discharge, no fever, no pain on urinating, itching etc but I know there can be no symptoms at all.I visited the doc and he ruled out Gon, Chalamid, etc - he didn't seem too concerned but I don't think he understood ( or I wasn't clear) that it was Lboys I was with. Also GP's tend to race thru things eager to get the next patient thru.

I do have a sore dry throat, cough, feeling of fatigue and aches in limbs.

Just need some guidance / reinforcement and maybe some good education via medical website.

And yes I know I am an idiot for going unprotected.

Appreciate in advance.

PFM, you know the information, a couple of good sources - the Center for Disease Control (USA) and Web MD

As you know the only way to know for sure is to get tested - but as you already know the odds are good you don't have HIV.

Get tested. I am HIV+, I never had any symptoms. I was lucky my annual company medical required an HIV test.
HIV lives in pre cum also, so they do not need to shoot a full load inside you.

Hope you’re okay and everything is fine for you.
If anyone else finds themselves in the same predicament, you have up to 72 hours post exposure to get on Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PrOP), it’s about a month of tablets and the amount of daily tablets varies depending on what’s available in your country.
I had unprotected sex with a woman in Brazil and woke up the next day stressed out of my mind.
Long story short, went to a doctor in Rio and was prescribed PrOP within 36 hours post exposure.
They had the old tablets which had awful side effects. I took them at a restaurant with food and honestly still don’t know how I got back to my hotel without blacking out.
Returned to my home country 2 days later, went to a clinic and they gave me some honest facts:
Don’t risk it, but it’s not common to catch HIV, there’s a lot of misinformation from scare campaigns from the 90’s.
You can live a perfectly normal life if you’re positive.
If you’re circumcised (which I am), it reduces the risk of catching any infection by 60%.

Now I can’t stress enough that you need to use protection, even if it’s for your mental health. Unless it’s with a long term partner that you trust, don’t risk it.
If you do want to throw caution to the wind, take PrEP beforehand.

Tested positive to HIV - I know its not the end but its not where you want to be either.

Stupidly when I should have used condoms I didn't and to be honest the sex I had was mainly oral and the anal sex I had was very brief and I mean 2 mins at max and no one ever came inside me ever.

Now not sure where I got it from or who but the message is clear - protect yourself.

Yes I know for the rest of my life I have to live with the idea I am a fool.

God bless to all and don't make the same foolish decisions I made.

Sorry to hear that. Take your pills, live your life. It is a completely different world now living with HIV compared to pre HAART days. And the meds keep on improving.

Don't be hard on yourself, you are not a fool. Sex is natural and millions of people do it everyday. You were unlucky.

Get over to the poz.com forum, a better resource for HIV than here. No offence meant to this forum and members. It is a specialist subject though.

Like many I hate condoms for a variety of reasons. So often I bb which I know has inherent risk. I am educated and aware of risks, methods of transfer, etc etc. Given many places of fun have the option of LB's or regular girls I was just wondering the views on bb both these 2 groups.

Yes I know you can get an STD from either group but do members think the risk of infection etc from bb LB's is significantly higher than regular girls?
Do members take more caution when fucking a LB as opposed to a regular girl or do they just say well if I am going to get it I'm going to get it from someone.

Interested to know your views esp from those who bb regularly.

appreciate .

I am not convinced that you're aware of the risks that you take, but it's your life after all. Hopefully you have a prescription for truvada and you also ask ladyboys that you fuck to make a test before you fuck them (I am not convinced you're serious on the later point).

Your question doesn't make sense. I haven't heard or read of stats dealing with contamination by ladyboys or by GGs, contimanition when topping or bottoming a ladyboy etc ... You are just looking for excuses to jstify your behaviour that is not acceptable.

Thanks for your opinion - anyone else care to respond to the question rather than just criticizing my choices.

For the poster a 2 sec search of google found this  https://www.hivplusm...ng-or-bottoming

What are you expecting from us now ? Should we complain you and add we're sorry ?   :argh:

  I just wonder what happened in your mind before you did it. It's not our role either to scold you like a disobedient little boy, what you have been more than a little bit. You didn't want to have a responsible behavior but you're still responsible for what happened. No excuse. You weren't drunk, no one added drug in your drink. You did it on purpose and you can't deny that you knew the risks. You have certainly received a sufficiently high level of education to know that by repeating a risk, you always end up losing.

You're luckier than a Russian roulette player since it didn't kill you. You're more a p... in the a... than a Russian roulette player because you're going to cost money to you insurance or tax payer whoever they are in your country to pay for your lack of responsibility.

And I fear worse than that now. I hope you gonna stop your BS and won't go back and bareback healthy ladyboys till you sentence one to death with your BS.  :x2

PFM, sorry to hear the news - but the good thing is that with proper treatment, you can still have a long, relatively normal life. I think UKfarang's suggestion to look for more support from other HIV+ patients is better than trying to get it here.

Also thanks for your recommendation for others not to follow the path you did. People do have the freedom of choice, but do they actually understand the consequences of their actions if they happen to become of one the % of people that become infected with HIV (and other STDs) from unprotected sex?

This is a cautionary tale, and one the others need to heed.

All the best to you!

Thanks for all your support - am on drugs now and hopefully things go well.

As stated Doc tells me as long as drugs work and you stay on them all "should" be good.

As to those who wish to cast the first stone - must be hard for you living in a world when everyone else is so imperfect.

Nothing but heartfelt best wishes to you PFM. I appreciate your honesty and the reality-check this thread represents.

Who among us have never engaged in some risky sexual behavior? I have, and i’m one of the lucky ones. Your honesty here is much appreciated and i’m hopeful for you that you’ll discover in time that you’re ok and learn to live a fulfilled life in spite of this turn your life has taken.
