visiting for while from 5th November - whos around - perhaps have some beers.

appeciate recommendations on up2date hotels 

costs etc - not been for while due to work 

last was in Dynasty Hotel not grande - perfer appartment - 

 advice one lb tips etc welcome

Will be going to Pattaya - prob  7th to 10th for week/2  then perhaps Phuket back bkk

Most hotels located near the red light areas (Nana Plaza, Patpong, Soi Cowboy), are guest friendly - that is they will allow you one visitor at a time to your room. If you try for two though, they may charge you extra. It is also common practice for the front desk to ask for the ID of your guest - which is actually a good thing as you have some way to track her down in case something untoward happens. They will usually return it to her, after they confirm you are ok, when she leaves. If you are not ok, they keep her ID.

 

There are some recent posts in the trip reports and holiday snaps I would suggest you read. A few forum members have tried social medial such as LIne, Whatsapp and Thai Friendly with some success as well.

Walk into View Talay 6 next to Central Festival. There are several Real Estate companies right there . Have them show you furnished studios with Kitchens . Better than a hotel, centrally located next to shopping, food, bars , transportation. Make an offer, they are often desparate for someone to rent .

yes will check out Talay 6 - alreay rent condo in BKK on soi 11 Shukhumvit not sure if any issue with guests there as expect security guard etc ?

will be off in 4 days so will try get some snaps and updates.

 

im bkk from 6th pattaya 10th
