Hello, I have looked around the internet and youtube for basic words and phrases to help when i go to Thailand. Unfortunately there are some that I am looking for and I have had trouble finding them.

I speak english and am having a little bit of a hard time

Some of the phrases i am looking for would be along the lines of these.

Are you a ladyboy?

do you have any ladyboys working / available?

how much? (if asking for short time or massage)

When reading on the forum I didn't notice a topic like this one and thought it may be helpful to start one. Hope we could get some other words and phrases that will benefit everyone to know so please share!

*UPDATE*

When I started this topic I was worrying without really thinking that literally millions of English speaking people visit Thailand every year and get by just fine.

sorry for the unnecessary topic.  If anyone knows If i can delete this topic that would be much appreciated!

I can''t imagine you would really need to know how to say, "Are you a ladyboy?" In Thai.

Ladyboys by in large use the word "ladyboy" to refer to themselves and not the Thai word "Katoohey".

So, just saying "ladyboy?" In a quizzical fashion will get you a response.

The ones that are in the P4P game will be able to negotiate a price with you, so don't worry there.

For general Thai language, there are tons of apps and pharse books out there. If you are looking for a pharse book that includes useful phrases for sexual activity, go look for "Making out in Thai."

silas - nice idea, but not really that necessary for the lb p4p scene. The book Spyder Rocket mentioned is useful for some bedroom talk - but most Thai p4p lbs know enough English to understand what is required for bedroom activities.

What would be more appreciated is understanding some of the Thai cultural norms that means you won't make a mistake and cause offense (not just to Thai lbs but other Thais you will encounter during your visit).
