Hello,

Has anyone ever tried using CL for Thailand? Not to sure, I don't even use it stateside lol. I did find this beauty on there and would like to know if anyone else has had the pleasure of meeting her? Says she is in Pattaya in the ad. There are a few more pictures on the ad and they look pretty good to me.

Beg to disagree. Thaifriendly has been good to me. I'm here on the ground. Have had many bar encounters, but also met some wonderful LB's on the site and in person. It's like networking - instead of job hunting, it's encounter shopping.

Sites like Thaifriendly are good if you're an expat or in town for a long time, but I've never really understood why those who are only in Thailand on holiday use them. There are more and more girls using these sites to freelance out of their room, but I'd say the vast majority of ladyboys on Thaifriendly and such sites are the same girls working in the bars (more so in Pattaya), even though many of them will make out they not work bar (and so the lies begin... ) Ok, it may help you avoid a 300 baht bar fine, but it adds many other potential traps and complications. don't be fooled into thinking this girls are just lonely or horny looking for foreign companionship, most of them are still looking for something in return for sex, whether it be freelancing P4P or playing the long game.

 

Despite saying that, the girl posted on the start of this thread is called Shiho and she works as a hotel receptionist in Bangkok. I've met her a few times. She's one of the few that isn't a hardcore hooker, but at the same time those photos of her are very flattering, there's a little more boy showing in person (not that I mind that).

Different people have different circumstances and Thaifriendly and websites like it serve a certain need. Personally I don't use any of them because I need more than just pictures to get me interested in a girl.

 

What frustrates me about these sorts of websites is, not the websites themselves, but the constant requests for details, experiences and assessments of girls who advertise on them by people who will be doing nothing other than wasting the girl's time and are probably not even in the Kingdom or close to being there.

 

Poor online etiquette by time-wasting farang pisses the girls off, which then subsequently affects the experiences of genuine punters. Girls aren't interested in online chit-chat with bedroom wankers.

 

Their time is money, so don't waste it.

I have a mobile number from her email response and will be sure to look her up when I am in Pattaya in-between checking out the bars of course. I will be sure to snap some pictures too with permission of course. I haven't been to thaifriendly.com then again I am not looking for a LTR either. This will be my first time hunting outside of BKK.

If you are going to Pattaya for the first time, believe me when I tell you, you will have an abundance of girls to choose from on the ground (bars, massage parlors, shops, restaurants, even barber shops, central festival) LBs are everywhere. Every time I go I’m impressed with the new fresh talent to be found there in all these venues. Bangkok is fine, but I’m sure you will be more impressed with Pattaya.

Online dating adds the uncertainty to the experience and removes the fun from it in my opinion. You can’t know first-hand if the girl is up to your expectations/fake until she’s at your room door, not to mention “generally” most online girls are ask more for their time.

No harm in trying it just to do something different. I’m Not sure how long is your vacation if it’s let’s say 10 days, I think you will be overwhelmed with what you can find in Pattaya if you stick to Soi 13/1 , Soi 6, and Buakhaow area (I omitted other venues such as Jomtien and Naklua, etc.) I doubt you will have the time to call anyone.

Nothing beats this site for where to go, who to do and for general information and a laugh. TF however is valuable for finding L'bs for a few nights out of a week or two.  I always set up via TF 3-4 girls then hang loose for the bars other nights. If I don't feel like going out to a bar at least I have a few numbers already.  As well I have had several fabulous Lb's  from TF who just want to meet guys and want it, FREE, a cost of a nice pleasant dinner, the mandatory bottle of butt opening red and that's it.  The girls I have had, and continue to have, are all lookers and sexy, I'm not saying who though, I'm a greedy bastard when it comes to my harem.
