So...thought I'd give it it a go beforeI flogged it on and bugger me it has grown on me. My original i-pad gathers dust being the cumbersome beast it has now become while everything on it is just far too big.
The wee beastie is a delight to use and a take everywhere device for sure...my only gripe being if I'd bought it for myself I'd have went for at least 32gb...anyone else taken the plunge?

Still very happy with my Ipad2 3G at the moment with the size being perfect, not sure what I would opt for once this excellent product starts to become unreliable or as I expect, eventually the operating system is not upgradable.

For anyone going through LHR there's not much of a deal in the latest tablets, Kindle HD Fires are 157 and i-pad minis are 250 quid.
A bonus was I got a pair of the excellent Bowers & Wilikins P3 headphones for 120 as I bought the wee one...bargain!

I'm waiting for the new samsung activepc, looks like a very slick tablet/laptop.The minis weight or lack of it is a real deal clincher, being only a couple of inches smaller does it no harm either...my i-pads days are numbered methinks.

I'm sick to death of apple now given the garbage they are passing off for an os now...i'd rather my apps didn't randomly crash after os updates(welcome ios 6.0.1) and i would also like a battery life that doesn't require charging after half a day despite using for maybe only one or 2 sms's and having nothing battery draining switched on!!!!

you don't ! what could be more simple than just copying your files to the device and letting it figure out what they areGuys, the reason why I go for an Apple phone etc, I find it easy to store music on, and really easy to use. As tried the Galaxy 3 and the Samsung note, found it extremely difficult to navigate and operate both these andriod running pieces of tech.
With Apple you just plug in your device sync it and your done, all you rmusic and pictures etc are sorted.
With someone who has a limited knowledge of tech especially pc's etc, how do you go about transferring music from itunes, to an android operating phone/tablet?

if you really want to sync then you just use kies or whatever software you get with the phone, my personal experience with kies was it was easier to use than itunes!still too much hastle, especially when you just sync ur apple device and it's done
what i really don't like about apple is there inate ability to trash your phone with every major update when your on the previous generation you know such basic things as random app crashes and battery life, it happend with the iphone 4 and the 4s for me...a cynical ploy by apple to force you to go out and buy the new one every year!!!
i'd go back to nokia if i didn't think they were about to go out of business
