Doing just a few nights in LOS which, unfortunately, coincides with the Princess' funeral on April 8-10.

Plenty of girls will be eagerly vying for your baht; stock up the Loom fridge with drinks and snacks and get a few DVDs...a trawl of the bars before should furnish you with their mobile numbers.

So far ive never been in Thailand when the bars where shut down for elections or royal deaths or anything like that. I was in Bangkok in 2006 for that military lockdown but that was awesome. I spent a few days with a Bangkok ladyboy named Donut who had a spider tattoo on her back.
