Just a brief update on Burgos St....

Petesie mentions Cubana Bar in his new trip report. Its the bar at the Ground floor of the Royal Bellagio Hotel in the middle of Burgos St and has recently been refurbished and extended so that it now occupies a large space (basically they have taken over the Girly Bar that was there before).

I've been in a few times over the past week or so - inc with our esteemed Mod - and there have always been a few LB free-lancers having a drink or two. There's nothing like the quantity or quality of those in the Greenbelt area but if you are on Burgos and are feeling too lazy to move then this is as good a place as any to watch the street and maybe hook up with an LB. Its just 2 mins walk from Mixed Nuts and 5 - 10 mins by taxi to Greenbelt.

They now also have a fair number of televisons around the place and seem to show ESPN / Star so you get to see the football as well. Could be a useful HQ for those staying in and around that area....

Not that the last update elicited any interest but here is another one.... looks like Cubana Bar has (temporarily?) kicked out the FL GG's and LB's so it's now mainly fellas in there having a few drinks on their own....

Better option might possibly be the refurbished Matrix Bar just across the street about 30 yards down. Was last night anyway.
