Yeah, I've had a few of these over the past 4 or 5 years. I used to use one to make HiDef videos with a few different "models" from Vancouver BC which I'd then edit and post on another forum. They're great if used properly. A couple of things to know:
1. Always best if used in a stationary position, ie: with a stand. You can find nice little stands for them online or in any decent camera store for $10-15. Makes a world of difference.
2. If you MUST use it in handheld mode, do your best not to move. They usually don't have an image stabilizer so any movement or shaking makes the image look awful.
3. MOST IMPORTANTLY: remember these two simple rules for home-made porn fotography:
A. Turn off ALL background sound - stereo, tv, radio.
B. Make sure there is no bright light behind your model - lamp,
window, etc. Place the light source BEHIND your camera so that
the camera is between the light and the model. Remember it this
way: LIGHTS then CAMERA then ACTION.
Any other setup will
result in loss of detail.
Good luck!
