Is it really true that you can't take guests back to the Nana after midnight ??
Surely that's them shooting themselves in the foot.
Can anyone confirm if this is the case or is it just Chinese whispers gone mad ?
Thanks.

i really find it hard to believe...first of all...how will they seperate between girlfriends...and just bargirls...without offending the girlfriends??? have stayed a few times with Oh at Nana...and i would have gone ballistic if they tried to tell me she couldnt go with me??
secondly...whats the diff. between grabbing a lady of the night...before or after midnight???
third...its fucking low season now...i dont believe they want to scare any costumer away
but hey...this is Thailand...no logic....remember??
A ladyboy is a kind of creature...that makes a txt saying...dont you trust me...and send it to 20 people...

IMHO, this is just an urban myth spread by girls at Nana Plaza in their effort to get a barfine before midnight. I do not see any other relevant reason for it. Moreover, if Nana hotel really applied this rule, they would shoot themselves in the leg, since there are plenty of hotels near by, which would profit from this illogical rule. Nana hotel is cheap and perfectly located for a punter on budget.
There really is a small hotel down Soi 2 (not Soi 4), which has on its entrance an announcement banning sex tourists. Sorry, I did not take of photo of it. Just wondering who would stay in ssuch a hotel in that area.

The hotel on soi 2 is the Atlanta and is kept in the same condition as when it was founded by a German guy in the late 40's. The rooms are basic but decent. I had breakfast there on my first trip in the 40's diner style coffee shop. Had to knock and was given a lookover by a severe "mamasan" trying to detect if I was a sex tourist - I'd dressed smart and was carrying a guide book and Bangkok Post. It's an interesting time capsule and worth a look. Check out their website - "no undomesticated travellers" etc
LOL. I just found their webpage: http://www.theatlantahotelbangkok.com/. Already the webpage is a story for itself. It is an "uncle Adolf" style of threats, if you see what I mean.
It would be interesting to arrive there to check in with your usual LB, after having booked a room for two, and making a fuss about discrimination etc, since I am sure they will not allow you inside, shouting everywhere: "What do you have against my wife? It is pure discrimination! Shame on you! I will call the police to shut this hotel down!".
