They say hurricanes are like wives-
when they come its exciting,
wet and wild, getting blown everywhere
when they leave,
they take the house and the car.
Anybody else in her path? I did ok, lost a lot of beach though, Some of my neighbors took on big water. I hope everyone else is ok too.
I just got blown by Irene

Nix, I've said it before, and I'll say it again; if I ever need corn to go with my meal, I know where to go.
Larry, I'm glad you're okay. My younger son lives in northern Westchester County, NY, and he's still without power. His basement apartment got completely flooded, and he couldn't pump it out because there was no electricity. He said he made over 100 trips up the stairs with a bucket. New York City pretty much dodged the bullet, but a lot of the upstate inland areas got hurt.
