Fellow BM's

I am taking a straight mate to thailand soon and he is very interested in thai boxing, however he wants the boxing ring to be in a bar area so we can drink chat to bargirls and watch some boxing.

there was one in pattaya on walking street but I have not seen that for a while and there was one in Chiang mai but I am not sure if it is still there as not been to Chiang mai for several years. I am not aware of this set-up in bangkok

do any BM's know in thailand where I maybe able to find this type of venue.

There is a Thai Boxing ring in the complex that runs along the entrance to the Pattaya Beer Garden. This is just before the start of Walking St at the end of Beach Road.

Their is also an other further up walking St, so do not get confused between the two. As over a year ago I wondered around the one in Walking St phone to my ear being directed around the ring only to be in the wrong bar !!!

anyone know of other areas in Thailand (phuket maybe) I am a bit hesitant to take my str8 mate to sin city (Pattaya) as I may run into a few regular LB’s I know and mmm how to explain that

Pela, I seem to recall a Thai boxing venue in the strip of bars out the back side of Jung Ceylon in Patong. Had a lot of very ornate carving or something along those lines on the facade.
