Looks like I'm timing things well too as I'm getting a better rate than when I went for a trip last November. :D

just checked xe.com, now 56 baht to the pound, looks like it should be heading into the 60's soon.

I'll apologise straight away for the wide images, but if they were any smaller they would be unreadable :o

Graphs in the past have been pretty basic, so here's one courtesy of Reuters.

A day in the life of the Thai Baht... and not a great one either :|

History of the Baht over the last 15 years, the financial crisis in Thailand during 1997 is obvious :|

The UK to Baht rate seems to be slowly heading in the right direction. It finally reached 57 bht to the £ today, which is as high as it has been for about 9 months.

It's been steady at 56 bht for a several weeks so hopefully it will keep pushing up and be the right side of 60 by Christmas.

fingers crossed..

It's generally believed that the GBP is beginning an ascendancy and as the US dollar fell across the board yesterday and hit an annual low it caused a very noticable spike in our favour towards the end of the day in our favourite currency :)

Might take a while - but heading in the right direction !!
I spent a lot of money on LB's in Nana Plaza, Patpong and Pattaya. The rest of the cash, I just squandered

Could be a very long wait :|

66 Baht to the pound this time next year, then 100 Baht = £1.50 - easy on the brain :)

DC, you should be the thai chancellor - and make that currency a easy converter. I always keep a credit card sized list in my wallet of thai notes v equivalent pound value. Makes for easy calcuation - just a pest when the rate flux and annoying with the rate is crap.

20 THB =
100 THB =
500 THB =
1000 THB =
