I am fairly shy and wish to meet up discretely.

Can anyone tell me the policy with bring back a lady to your room at hotels in Bangkok?

Can you just arrange for them to come up to your room - will anyone ask them any questions?

Is it better to meet up at their place?

How do you give directions to taxi driver?

Is ASIA Hotel in Bangkok an OK hotel and will allow me to bring guests up to my room. Can they come up to my room by themselves without being asked a million questions?

Thanking you all in advance. :D

I stayed at the Asia Hotel's twice before both in Bangkok & Pattaya, it was a long time ago so policy may have changed although i doubt it.
On both occasiona a joiner fee was required and the girl had to leave her creditentials at reception.

More recently i have used the Majesic Suites and Nana and not being the shy type i have walked in with my chosen L/B or B/G and headed straight for the elevator! At the Nana the girls understand the routine because on arrival at the elevator and without being asked they hand the security guard their ID card.
On one occasion while staying at the Nana, i telephoned an L/B to come to my room. When she got to the foyer, the main desk called to ask if it was ok for her to join me

Asia hotel is a bit "old fashioned", in decoration and in attitude as well, i heard about joining fees and questions asked about guests. I suggest you to find another hotel for similar budget.

These two are guest friendly and show different ends of the spectrum, they take your guests I.D for your protection so there is some trace if they cause a problem latter etc and will ring you before they leave. No 20 questions when you bring your friend back just hand over I.D and on your way to fun.
