I have nothing to compare with, but DIG must be one of the best as for standard, price value, lb friendly, service, location, wireless internet etc.
I go back there, no reason to look for others.

I have stay at both Dynasty hotels and both Majestic. My preference is 1st Majestic suites, best bang for the $, friendly staff, includes 2 good free breakfasts with double superior room, no extra charge for more than 1 guest like Dynasty, includes free use of pool and fitness facilities at Majestic Grande, excellent location for transportation and night action. All bathrooms do have tubs, never experienced a problem with that.
Second choice would be the Dynasty Inn, soi 4, but only the superior rooms in the rear building. The price for these is same-same as Majestic, but no breakfast included and rooms are not as nice, also a fee for more than 1 guest.
Third choice is Dynasty Grande, the new hotel with pool and great rooms, but about 700 baht more per night, no breakfast included, and also a fee for more than 1 guest.
good luck!

Hi Pathway,

No problem bringing one guest back with you however in some instances they have been known to request additional payment for more than one guest at any given time.

It seems to vary a little, depending on the receptionist on duty.

Unless you are planning threesomes or foursome, this should not be an issue ! :D

Cheers

Is it fair to assume the walk from the DIG to the action is safe in the wee hours??

Thanks,
Xyzzy

Really not an issue, infact I've never had any threat to my personal safety anywhere in Thailand despite travelling there regularly for over 14 years.

Thanks, I booked a room. I also never had a problem. But walking down Soi 6 or 6/1 in Pattaya at 3 AM can be kind of interesting :-).
