I am sure we all have traveled with our LB around BKK or Pattaya. Has anyone traveled outside Thailand with her?

How did you deal with immigration or with hotel registration?

I know HK or Singapore is no problem, but what about China or Korea?

I don't think hotel registration is a problem at all. It's only in places around the sex indusry where such issues are a problem, but even in a hotel that isn't 'guest' friendly you can still register one LB as your partner and I can't imagine any hotel denying him/her access (and I think that's generally the case wordl wide).

It's all about visas. A thai LB can get a passport easily and within a day, but getting a visa to western country can be painful and take months, which we all know etc..

Taking an LB for a holiday somewhere else in Asia is more interesting. I know Cambodia and Laos are easy to access with an LB. I'm am pretty certain Malaysia is also easy, just needing a passport on entry. I thnik Vietnam could be a bit more tricky but possible, making sure you got the visa from the embassy in BKK would be the best way. Like you said, Singapour seems easy again, but I think Hong Kong is one I'd like to knwo about.
I know a couple of LBs who have gone to Hong Kong with Caberet shows for 6 month contracts, but the conditions of their stay are ridiculous, they weren't allowed to leave the hotel except for going to the caberet show. I'm assuming this is due to their manager being paranoid about them skipping off and not coming back, but I've been thinking about taking an LB with me to Hong Kong smoetime in the future and would be nice to know if anyone has the scoop on the visa situations there.

Once had a situation where she had to arrive in hkg one day before me, I was still in china. For Thais, no visa needed for hkg, so no problem in immigration.

Getting one large bed in the room, instead of 2 small beds was a challange. But she managed that, regarding the credit card to pay for room charges, I prepared a letter which she gave on check-in. Also, I reserved in our both names and I paid for for the stay in advance.

No hkg isnt a problem, but I would think China would be. If only coz most hotels have few rooms with one large beds, most only have 2 small beds.
