Looks like a big update today for anyone planning on coming to Thailand soon.
Thailand plans to drop all entry rules and restrictions by July 1st, and today they announced a big step in that direction.
Vaccinated travellers are no longer required to take a covid test before or after entering Thailand.
They are still keeping the Thailand Pass system in place, which means you will need to apply for this around a week before you travel, but those who are vaccinated no longer have the stress and hassle of getting covid tests.
Non vaccinated travellers will still need to get a PCR test within 72 hours before entering Thailand, stay in a SHA+ hotel for the first 5 nights, and have a test on the 5th day.

Fantastic news. Looks like a return to the Land of Smiles is in order. I was planning a big Thailand/Laos/Cambodia trip in late 2020 when covid derailed it all.
