Used to stay at Oxford Suites off and on for many years. At that time very accommodating and visitor friendly. Good value and near the action of P. Burgos.

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times too.

Most recently January 2019.

No issues with ladyboys and other guests etc

My issue are the rooms are old and in desperate need of a refresh.

Its to the point that in February i abandoned my booking and sought a new hotel.

I stayed just around the corner at City Garden Grand Hotel.

Clean, big rooms. Well maintained. Great bathrooms.

Rooftop poor and restaurant is relaxing with good city views.

Highly recommended.

Its more expensive but worth every cent, and only 2 minutes around the corner. from Burgos Street.

If you enjoy poached egg breakfast, the small restaurant out front Durban hotel does a good little meal.

(sits just in between CGGH and Burgos St.)

I can agree about Oxford, definitely needs a refurb to the rooms but for the price my room wasn't too bad, went to howzat for the breakfast
